Always wanted to know how to prepare the tastiest dishes outdoors on a wood fire? Together with friends, family or colleagues you 'play with fire' for the most delicious result.
 
With fresh ingredients you prepare a 4-course dinner that will make you lick your fingers. In pairs or small groups you will, for example, smoke fish, bake bread, make soups and pastas, prepare a Coq au vin, grill vegetables, bake muffins and cakes or whatever the menu of the day dictates. Together you keep the fire burning and jointly determine the final result.

PROGRAM

15:30 – Cooking workshop including 4-course dinner
We start with an adventurous and delicious outdoor cooking workshop. The cooking workshop is given in a fun, accessible and hospitable way at Buitenkoken Giethoorn on farm Schouwenburg in Giethoorn. Your view is, on the one hand, passing boats, and on the other, the Weerribben – Wieden National Park.

The focus of this approximately four-hour cooking workshop is on cooking with Dutch Ovens. You will get to know different types of cast-iron pots and learn the technique of cooking on a wood fire and with briquettes.

In groups you will prepare a delicious meal. Each group cooks one or two dishes so we prepare a complete 4-course dinner.

19:00 - Coffee, tea and cake from the fire
We end the cooking workshop with coffee, tea and cake from the fire.

The full package includes coffee, tea and soft drinks.
Radler 0.0 and alcoholic drinks such as beer and wine are excluded and will have to be paid for on site
