A full day in Giethoorn ending with a delicious cooking workshop. You start with a nice cup of coffee or tea followed by a boat tour through Giethoorn. Then explore the surroundings with a beautiful bike ride. Afterwards, we start the cooking workshop and you prepare your own dishes over fire.

10:00 AM – Coffee/ tea with some treats
This wonderful outdoor day starts with coffee/tea and some treats. In our cozy restaurant about 300 meters from the historic village center and near a large parking lot. You will also receive a lunch package here.
10:45 AM – Giethoorn Boat Tour
Discover Giethoorn and surroundings from the water. A one-hour boat tour, during which you sail through the historic village center of charming Giethoorn with its thatched roofs, narrow canals, and tall bridges, accompanied by a skipper and guide.
11:45 AM – Bike Ride
The bikes are ready for a beautiful ride in the area. Various cycling routes are available, but you can also use, for example, the ANWB Bicycle Route Planner.
3:30 PM – Cooking Workshop including 4-course dinner
An adventurous and delicious cooking workshop outdoors. The workshop is given in a fun, accessible, and hospitable way. Your view is on passing boats on one side and the Weerribben–Wieden National Park on the other.
The focus of this approximately four-hour cooking workshop is on cooking with Dutch Ovens. You will get to know different types of cast iron pots and learn the technique of cooking on wood fire and with briquettes.
In groups, you will prepare a delicious meal. Each group cooks one or two dishes so we get a complete menu with a starter, main course, and dessert. We end the cooking workshop around 7:00 PM with coffee, tea, and cake from the fire.
The cooking workshop includes coffee, tea, and soft drinks.
